Silda is a young architecture student and photographer residing in Brisbane. She has studied and lived in Turkey which made a profound impact on her sense of cultural appreciation and ethnic identity. This ultimately inspired her to channel her creativity toward hand-making beautiful pieces.
Today she makes jewellry, gift cards, T-shirts, and tote-bags under the name SANAT, and is in the process of expanding into other areas. She sees her work as an expressional extension of herself and is constantly experimenting with new mediums and ideas.
She describes her pieces as “a mesh of modern and traditional, quirky and conventional.”
All of her handmade pieces are available on her Etsy store.
