Matuse is a solo artist who is super talented in all things film and music. He conveys the struggle of the people and their stories through Hip-Hop — heavy with meaningful lyrics and raw emotion.
He has featured in the Australian prime time TV series, “Underbelly: The Golden Mile,” where he played the role of Shaka. He has also appeared in the film, “Cedar Boys,” playing the role of Hamdi, sharing the screen with Martin Henderson and Rachel Taylor.
Early in Matuse’s career, his music and acting talent was featured in the TV film, “Jammin in the Middle E,” on SBS. This led him to feature in the short film, “Between the Flags,” where he was awarded with the Best Male Actor award at the 2007 Tropfest Short Film Festival.
Matuse’s talent and dedication to the arts has seen him fast becoming a fresh and unforgettable face of urban music, film, and television in Australia.
