The Brief:
The Problem
We live in an increasingly information driven world. Everyday we are inundated with more news, current affairs and information than ever before. We are currently on overload and can’t process all of this information properly. So what can we do to ensure that this amount of information is easily digestible and does not slip past us unnoticed?
The Solution
We believe there is a positive and creative solution for almost every problem. As a global community we need to continue to push the boundaries of effective visual communication. We need to be the innovative driving force that produces engaging content that will have a powerful impact on the world around us.
The Challenge
Your mission is to choose a news story, a global issue, a meaningful cause or fun positive news item. Once you have found your news item, you need to turn it into an engaging piece of visual communication. You can be as creative as you like, as long as you utilise any of the following methods of communication:
- Motion Graphics, Typography and Animation (2D or 3D) or any Web-based media
- Infographics and Visual Storytelling
- Poster Art and Graphic Design

and spend time with some of the industry’s most recognised
professional media and creative talent during a tour of
the broadcasting centres.
